Building Capacity for Tourism and Hospitality

Our Accelerating Women’s Empowerment program strengthens capacity in service quality, management, infrastructure and marketing for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), especially those led by women. We’re focused on women’s leadership, protecting biodiversity and promoting sustainability.

How We’ve Made a Difference in Peru

▪ The Crees Foundation is now Rainforest Alliance Certified for sustainable tourism after receiving training in marketing and business planning.

▪ The Ministry of the Environment (MINAM) developed a digital platform providing information about Peruvian ecosystems to students and businesses advancing conservation.
