In this agriculture-based economy, our partnerships in Laos help entrepreneurs and food producers in vulnerable communities build skills and access opportunities in agribusiness—reducing food insecurity and driving community economic development. We collaborate with public and private sector partners to advance gender equality and inclusiveness and amplify women’s meaningful participation in social and economic life.

Strengthening Agribusiness
The Accelerating Women’s Empowerment program provides technical assistance in modern, climate-smart agricultural practices to increase productivity and competitiveness. We help micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), especially those led by women, develop their skills and access finance and markets.
