Catalyste+ Welcomes New Board Member, Publishes Corporate Annual Report
TORONTO, September 17, 2026 – Catalyste+ is pleased to announce the appointment of Gina Wilson to its Board of Directors, following formal approval at the Annual General Meeting held on September 17, 2026. Additionally, the organization published its 2025-2026 Annual Report this month, outlining organizational successes, program achievements, and goals for the following fiscal year.
Gina Wilson is an Algonquin from Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg with more than 40 years of experience in public service, Indigenous community development and governance. She most recently served as Deputy Minister of Indigenous Services Canada, where she oversaw multi-billion-dollar investments in infrastructure, economic development and social programs while advancing Indigenous-led service delivery and self-determination.
Her career has included senior leadership roles across the Government of Canada, Chief Executive Officer of the Assembly of First Nations, and earlier community-development work with Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg. She currently serves on the University of Ottawa’s Board of Governors and the Board of the Institute on Governance. Ms. Wilson is a recipient of an Indspire Award in the Public Service category and the 2026 Ottawa Distinguished Women Award for Lifetime Achievement.
In the 2025-2026 fiscal year, Catalyste+ has continued to serve as a global hub for development support, supporting the jobs, environments, and opportunities that drive universal economic growth. Over the year, Catalyste+ reports 579 completed assignments and 360 supported partners and clients, with 93,616 people benefited directly and indirectly across Indigenous and international programs.
Additionally, as announced by Prime Minister Mark Carney at the 2026 G7 Leaders’ Summit, Catalyste+ was chosen to implement two new programs: Inclusive Growth and Networks for Investment, Trade and Economic linkages (IGNITE) and Economic Linkages for Enhanced Value, Trade and Exports (ELEVaTE).
