A new partnership with GCI Group Canada

GCI Group Partners with CESO

TORONTO, May 1, 2017 – International economic development non-profit organization, CESO and leading Canadian public relations and engagement firm, GCI Group (GCI), join forces today in a move aimed to elevate awareness of the organization’s work in supporting economic growth in partnership with Canadian Indigenous communities, and around the world. As strategic partner to CESO, GCI will provide public relations and media relations services to expand upon the non-profit’s already exceptional reputation as a global leader in building economic capacity to drive social and economic change at local, national and international levels.

“CESO is thrilled to begin working with GCI. From our first meeting with their team, they certainly lived up to the company’s reputation as not only a premier communications and public engagement firm, but one that holds great interest in the value of social good. We’re impressed with their dedication, creativity, strategic thinking and professionalism, and are confident that they will be able to help us meet and exceed our communications goals,” said Wendy Harris, President and CEO of CESO.

GCI has a history of partnering with Canadian non-profit organizations by providing strategic communications to support positive social change. Moreover, GCI’s public engagement practice has worked on behalf of public-sector clients in communities throughout Ontario, empowering stakeholders and individual members of the public to have their voices heard and contribute to shaping policies on a range of issues facing the province.

“GCI is eager to work alongside CESO – a leading Canadian non-profit, committed to fostering economic growth within Indigenous communities in Canada and those in the developing world,” said Marion MacKenzie, President of GCI Group. “Our partnership demonstrates GCI’s commitment to assist organizations that empower others, a mainstay of our corporate vision and values. We also see that our work with CESO will give GCI hands-on experience in addressing the socio-economic challenges that many of Canada’s Indigenous communities experience, as Indigenous relations become more engrained into the growing field of public consultation.”
