Catalyste+ Welcomes New Board Member, Expresses Gratitude for Departing Directors
TORONTO, September 11, 2025 – Catalyste+ is pleased to announce the appointment of Bryan Disher to its Board of Directors, following formal approval at the Annual General Meeting held on September 11, 2025. At the same time, the organization extends its heartfelt thanks to Laureen Whyte, Chris Skirrow, and Allan Clarke, who are stepping down from their roles on the Board.
Mr. Disher, FCPA, brings over 38 years of international experience in audit, assurance, and advisory services. Throughout his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), he held senior leadership positions, including Managing Partner and Audit and Assurance Leader, with assignments spanning from Ottawa to Ukraine. His depth of expertise and global perspective will be a valuable addition to the Board as Catalyste+ continues to grow its impact.
As we welcome a new member, we also recognize the significant contributions of three outgoing Directors.
Laureen Whyte joined the Board in September 2017 and served as Chair of the Indigenous & Northern Services Committee. Her leadership and unwavering commitment have been instrumental in advancing Catalyste+’s work in reconciliation and deepening partnerships with Indigenous communities across Canada.
Chris Skirrow, who also joined in September 2017, served as Chair of the Audit & Finance Committee. His oversight and guidance have helped ensure the organization’s continued fiscal responsibility and financial transparency, strengthening our governance practices.
Allan Clarke, appointed to the Board in September 2021, brought thoughtful insight and strategic perspective to his role. His contributions enriched discussions, and his role in the development of the Catalyste+ Reconciliation Action Plan has left a lasting impact on the organization and our work in Canada.
Catalyste+ extends its sincere appreciation and thanks to Laureen Whyte, Chris Skirrow, and Allan Clarke for their years of dedicated service and lasting impact on the organization. We are equally excited to welcome Bryan Disher and look forward to the expertise he brings to the Board.
